A parallel algorithm for computing several eigenvalues is presented which is an adaptation of the Davidson method. The main contribution of the paper lies in the way how the eigenvalues for the subspaces are computed using the arrowhead matrices. The algorithm has been implemented and tested on a Paragon machine. The code is portable (MPI).
