The paper contains some fixed point theorems for classes of self-maps on closed subsets of a Banach space of functions. These results are applied to give a unified proof for the existence of pseudo-stable, weak-stable, strong-stable, stable (pseudo-unstable,\dots) manifolds for \(C^{k,\delta}\), \(0<\delta\leq 1\), maps of a Banach space.
