Let \(f\:[0,+\infty)\to\mathbb R\) be a smooth positive function, let \(M=\{ (x,y)\in \mathbb R^1 \times\mathbb R^{n+1} \mid \| y\| =f(x)\}\) be the surface of revolution in the space \(\mathbb R^{n+2}=\mathbb R^1 \times \mathbb R^{n+1}\), and let \(d\) be the operator of exterior derivation that is considered to be defined in the spaces \(L^k_p(M)\) of differential \(k\)-forms whose modulus is integrable over \(M\) to the power \(p\). It is proven that if \(0\leq k\leq n\) and \(f\) is not bounded, then the operator \(d\: L^k_p(M)\to L^{k+1}_p(M)\) is not normally solvable. In addition, it is proven that if \(0\leq k\leq n\) and \(f\) is bounded, then the operator \(d\) is normally solvable if and only if \(\lim_{x\to\infty}f(x)=0\).
