Using a simplified version of a Noether's theorem [see theorem 4.29 in \textit{P. J. Olver}, Applications of Lie groups to differential equations. Graduate Texts in Mathematics, 107. New York etc.: Springer-Verlag. XXVI (1986; Zbl 0588.22001)], the authors derive the conservation laws corresponding to invariance under translations and rotations of the reference configuration, for the stored energy functional of elastic homogeneous isotropic bodies using the models of simple materials and the model of Cosserat continuum. For these models two theorems are proved on conjugate solutions (see the second author [Sov. Phys., Dokl. 37, No. 5, 261-263 (1992; Zbl 0785.73023); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 324, No. 2, 282-286 (1992)]). Worthy to note is the derivation of conservation laws for Cosserat materials, which is a new and important result.
