      The paper gives explicit formulae for the optimal control for the problem \[ \begin{aligned} &I(y)\to \min,\\ &y_t= (u(x)y_x)_x+f \quad\text{in } (0,1)\times (0,T),\quad u\in U,\\ &y(x,0)= y(x,T),\quad y(1,t)= 0, \quad y_x(0,t)=0, \quad x\in (0,1), \quad t\in (0,T), \end{aligned} \] where \[ U=\left\{ u\in C^{0,1}[0,1] \Biggl| {{u(0)=\alpha, u(1)=\beta, | u(x_1)- u(x_2)| \leq \rho| x_1-x_2|} \atop {\forall x_1,x_2\in (0,1)}} \right\}, \] the cost functional \(I\) is given as \[ I(y)= \int_0^1 y(x,0)dx \quad\text{or}\quad I(y)= \int_0^T [y(0,t)- g(t)]^2 dx, \] and the data have some specific properties, for instance, \(f\geq 0\), \(f_x> 0\) and \(\alpha< \beta\).
