A solution of the quantum Knizhnik Zamolodchikov equation of type \(C_n\). (Q1290460)

Several types of the root system (\(C_{n}\) and \(BC_{n}\)) are used to derive new solutions of the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation. A family of rational functions which would correspond to a basis of the \(q\)-de Rham cohomology attached to the integrand is exploited, and the solution is presented as a restriction of \(q\)-Jordan-Pochhammer integral. An explicit expression of a special case of the Macdonald polynomial of the \(C_{n}\) type is given and the connection with the representation of the Hecke algebra is explained.
