Local singularities of dynamical systems with shock interactions (Q1290790)

The author classifies the local singularities of a special class of dynamical systems with shock interactions. He distinguishes four types of \(M^*(x^*_1,x^*_2,\dots, x^*_n)\) on the shock manifold \(x_n= 0\), also describing some properties of the qualitative structure. Furthermore, it is proved that for any system of the considered class, the local singularities relative to each one of those four types, have sufficiently small neighborhoods with the same topological structure in the phase spaces of the corresponding systems.
