Let \(\tau_n\) be a cone of all \(C^\infty\)-functions \(\psi:\mathbb{R}^n\to \mathbb{R}_-= \{t\in \mathbb{R}:t< 0\}\) whose partial derivatives are nonnegative. Each function \(\psi\in \tau_n\) has a unique integral representation \[ \psi(x)= c_0+ c_ix+ \int_{\mathbb{R}^n_+\setminus\{0\}} (\exp(u\cdot x)- 1) d\mu(u), \] where \(\mathbb{R}_+= \mathbb{R}\setminus\mathbb{R}_-\), \(c_0\leq 0\), \(c_1\in\mathbb{R}^n_+\), \(\mu\) is positive measure. Let \(A\) be a complex Banach algebra with unit 1 and \(\text{Diss}(A)\) be the cone of all dissipative elements of \(A\). If \(a= (a_1,\dots, a_n)\) is a set of pairwise commuting elements of \(\text{Diss}(A)\), then the mapping \[ \psi\mapsto \psi(a)= c_01+ c_1\cdot a+ \int_{\mathbb{R}_+^n\setminus\{0\}} (\exp u\cdot a-1) d\mu(u) \] defines the \(\tau_n\)-calculus for commuting elements from \(\text{Diss}(A)\). The author studies the mapping \(\psi\mapsto \psi(a): \tau_n\to \text{Diss}(A)\) and shows the properties of uniqueness, continuity, and stability. Applications to the theory of sectorial operators in Hilbert space are given. [For part I see Math. Notes 61, No. 4, 524-527 (1997; Zbl 0920.46039)].
