A system having a characteristic scalar-valued function of the form \[ H_T(z)=P(z)+Q(z)e^{-z t} \] with positive \(T\) is considered. The functions \(P(z), Q(z)\) are allowed to be holomorphic functions in a neighborhood of the right half-plane. Two cases of extreme stability switching with respect to delay \(T\) as parameter are presented. In one of them, the stability region in the parameter space becomes increasingly complicated while running a sequence of delay systems.
