Several properties of graded algebras are considered. In the first section the question of the existence of almost split sequences for not necessarily finite dimensional graded algebras is investigated. In the study of homological dimension for graded algebras, the author shows that if \(\Lambda\) is a Noetherian graded locally Artinian algebra such that \(n=\max\{\text{injdim }S \mid S\) graded simple\} is finite, then \(\Lambda\) has finite graded global dimension and it is equal to \(n\). Let \(\Lambda=KQ/I\) be a graded quiver algebra. It is shown that all indecomposable projectives have the same Loewy length when \(\Lambda\) is a finite dimensional selfinjective graded quiver algebra with \(Q\) connected. The Yoneda algebra \(\Gamma\) is given by \(\Gamma=\bigoplus_{i\geq 0}\text{Ext}_\Lambda^i(\Lambda/\overline J,\Lambda/\overline J)\), where \(\overline J\) is the graded Jacobson radical of \(\Lambda\). There is a functor \({\mathcal F}\colon\text{Gr-}\Lambda\to\text{Gr-}\Lambda^{op}\), where \(\text{Gr-}\Lambda\) is the category of graded modules and graded morphisms, given in objects by \({\mathcal F}(M)=\bigoplus_{i\geq 0}\text{Ext}_\Lambda^i(M,\Lambda/\overline J)\). A finitely generated module \(M\) generated in highest degree zero is said to be Koszul is \({\mathcal F}(M)\) is generated in highest degree zero. The algebra \(\Lambda\) is Koszul if all graded simples generated in degree zero are Koszul. This type of algebras was studied by the author and \textit{E. L. Green} [in Representation theory of algebras, CMS Conf. Proc. 18, 247-297 (1996; Zbl 0860.16009)]. In the last two sections of the paper the author shows that the Yoneda algebra of a selfinjective Koszul algebra has properties similar to the commutative regular algebras.
