The authors, in this paper, obtain a dual result to the well-known Auslander-Bridger formula for \(G\)-dimension. They prove that if \(R\) is a complete Cohen-Macaulay ring with residue field \(k\) and \(M\) is a non-injective, \(h\)-divisible, Ext-finite \(R\)-module of finite Gorenstein injective dimension such that for each \(i\geq 1\), \(\text{Ext}^i(E,M)=0\) for all indecomposable injective modules \(E\neq E(k)\), then \[ \text{depth }R= \text{Gor-inj.dim }M+ \text{Tor-depth }M \dots\;.\tag{\(*\)} \] As a consequence, the authors prove that \((*)\) holds for every nonzero cosyzygy of a finitely generated module over a Gorenstein local ring. -- As a corollary they deduce that every nonzero finitely generated module over a Gorenstein local ring \(R\) has Gorenstein injective dimension equal to the depth of \(R\).
