Different interpretations of triangular norms and related operations (Q1292101)

The authors explain four different approaches toward t-norms: as binary functions in the unit interval subject to some functional equations, as semigroup operations, as semiring muliplications, and as derived operations in difference posets. For each one of these cases some few interesting consequences are discussed.
