Answering a question posed by the reviewer in [Topology of spaces of probability measures, I: The functors \(P_\tau\) and \(\widehat{P}\), Mat. Stud. 5, 65-87 (1995; Zbl 1023.28501); Topology of probability measure spaces, II: Barycenters of probability Radon measures and metrization of the functors \(P_\tau\) and \(\widehat{P}\), ibid. 5, 88-106 (1995; Zbl 1023.28502)] the author proves that the functor \(P_\tau\) of \(\tau\)-additive probability measures does not preserve the completeness of uniform spaces. Namely, \(P_\tau(\mathbb R^{\mathfrak c})\) is not complete. On the other hand, under Martin's Axiom, \(P_\tau(X)\) is complete for every complete uniform space \(X\) of uniform weight \(<\mathfrak c\). Besides these results the paper provides a detailed account of properties of the functors \(P_\tau\) and \(P_R\) of probability \(\tau\)-additive and Radon measures in the categories \(\mathcal Tych\), \(\mathcal Metr_b\), and \(\mathcal Unif\) of Tychonoff, bounded metric, and uniform spaces, respectively.
