Classifying rational solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation by integers \(k\), the author first interprets a result of \textit{A. Belavin} and \textit{V. Drinfeld} [Funct. Anal. Appl. 16, 159--180 (1983); translation from Funkts. Anal. Prilozh. 16, No. 3, 1--29 (1982; Zbl 0504.22016)] as a correspondence between rational solutions of class 0 and quasi-Frobenius subalgebras of \(\text{sl}(n)\). Next he comes to establish an analogous result for rational solutions of class \(k\) and quasi-Frobenius subalgebras of \(\text{sl}(n+k)\). Moreover, he proves a condition on quasi-Frobenius subalgebras implying gauge equivalence of the corresponding rational solutions.
