This large paper consists of an introduction, four chapters, a list of references (74 titles!), and an appendix. It appears as a little book because it covers 116 pages and presents complete descriptions of the used notions (for example: orbifolds, Kuranishi structures, moduli space of stable maps) and detailed proofs. Using especially \textit{M. Kontsevich's} ideas [Prog. Math. 129, 335-368 (1995; Zbl 0885.14028)], the paper is devoted to the following subjects: (i) a proof of a version of Arnold's conjecture on general symplectic manifolds, (ii) Gromov-Witten invariants, (iii) a verification of the Kontsevich-Manin axioms [\textit{Commun. Math. Phys.} 164, 525-562, (1994; Zbl 0853.14020)] except the Motivic Axiom.
