Scaling laws and convergence for the advection-diffusion equation (Q1296597)

The author studies the convergence of stochastic processes related to a random heat equation of propagation type in a Kolmogorov's random velocity field. The results of the paper improve those of [\textit{M. Avellaneda} and \textit{A. J. Majda}, Commun. Math. Phys. 131, No. 2, 381-429 (1990; Zbl 0703.76042)] in the case of ``shear-flow'' advection-diffusion. The approach of the paper may be used to study other problems e.g. the time-dependent case, problems in higher dimensions and problems involving nonsheared fluid flows.
