The authors consider \(H\)-spaces \(X\) which are connected CW-complexes with at most three cells. These are all known. They investigate under which conditions \([X,X;\mu]\) is a group, where \(\mu\) is a multiplication on \(X\), and solve the problem. They also compute this group in certain cases.
