Regularity for quasilinear equations and 1-quasiconformal maps in Carnot groups (Q1298135)

In this paper earlier results of the author are extended to any nilpotent stratified Lie group, proving the \(C^{1+\alpha}\) regularity of weak solutions to a class of quasilinear equations that arise in the study of quasiconformal maps between domains of Carnot groups. Two different classes of applications are given: the first consists in higher regularity, and hypoellipticity theorems for the quasilinear operator. In the second application the smoothness of 1-quasiconformal maps in groups of Heisenberg type is proved and is put in relation with some of the work of Pierre Pansu.
