    The paper extends conditions for \(V_0: {\mathbb R}^n\to {\mathbb C}\) to belong to the Kato class or \(\Delta+V_0\) to generate a strongly continuous semigroup \(U(t)_{t\geq 0}\) on \(L^1({\mathbb R}^n)\) to the non-autonomous case \(V_0: [0,\infty)\times{\mathbb R}^n\to {\mathbb C}\). Here \(U(t)_{t\geq 0}\) is the Miyderra perturbation of the semigroup generated by \(\Delta\). The non-autonomous enlarged Kato class is introduced: \[ \widehat{NK}=\{V:\;[0,\infty)\times {\mathbb R}^n\to {\mathbb C}, \;V \text{ mesurable, } \|V(\cdot)\|_U<\infty\}, \] \[ \|V(\cdot)\|_U:=\sup_{s\geq 0} \sup_{f\in D(\Delta), \|f\|_1\leq 1} \int_0^1\|V(s+t)U(t)f\|_1 dt, \] and its properties are investigated. It is proved that if for some \(M\), \(a>0\) \[ \inf_{\alpha>0} \sup_{s\geq 0} \sup_{f\in D(\Delta), \|f\|_1\leq 1} \int_0^{\alpha}\|V(s+t)U(t)f\|_1 dt<a/M, \] then there exists a family \(W(t,s)\) such that \(W(t,s)f =U(t,s)f+\int_0^t W(t,\tau)V(\tau)U(\tau,s)f d\tau\), \(L^1({\mathbb R}^n)\), and \(W(t,s)f\) is a unique mild solution for the parabolic problem \[ \frac{\partial}{\partial t}u(t,x)=\sum_{i,j=1}^n\frac{\partial}{\partial x_i} \left(a_{i, j}(t,x)\frac{\partial }{\partial x_j}u(t,x)\right)+V(t,x), \;u(s,x)=f(x), \;t\geq s. \]
