The author studies moment operators on \(C(S)\) (\(S\) is a compact Abelian semigroup), i.e. operators of the form \[ (Tf)(x)= \int_S f(xy) d\mu(y) \] and Reynolds operators, i.e. operators of the form \[ T(fg)= TfTg+ T((f- Tf)(g- Tg))\quad f,y\in C(S). \]
