The author considers the tetrahedral 4-body problem with rotation formed by two binaries \((m_1-m_2)\) and \((m_3-m_4)\) with the same masses, each symmetric with respect to the vertical axis, and moving under Newtonian gravitation in opposite directions. A direct and simple proof is given that all singularities of this model are due to collisions, and that the singularities due to simultaneous double collisions are regularizable. The author also studies equilibrium points on the total collision manifold, and all possible connections among them. It is shown that the set of initial conditions on a given energy surface leading to a quadruple collision is a union of twenty submanifolds: twelve of them have dimension 2, and the others have dimension 3. Similar statement holds for ejection orbits from quadruple collision.
