Finiteness of real quadratic fields which admit positive integral diagonal septanary universal forms (Q1301740)

In his thesis (Seoul National Univ., 1997) the author has shown that there exist infinitely many real quadratic fields which admit diagonal position universal forms of rank 8. In the paper under review it is shown that there are only finitely many real quadratic fields which admit diagonal positive universal forms of rank 7.
