Some results on co-recursive associated Meixner and Charlier polynomials (Q1301824)

The paper may be seen as a continuation of a recent article by \textit{J. Letessier}, \textit{A. Ronveaux}, \textit{G. Valent} and the author on associated Meixner and Charlier polynomials [ibid. 71, No. 2, 331-341 (1996; Zbl 0856.33008). For the CAM (corecursive associated Meixner) polynomials the author derives an explicit expression in terms of hypergeometric functions. A generating function is obtained which in turn leads to the Stieltjes transform of the orthogonality measure. Moreover, a fourth-order difference equation satisfied by the CAM polynomials is derived; the coefficients are quite complicated and MAPLE was used. Finally, some special and limiting cases are considered. Note that a minus sign is missing on the right-hand sides of (11) and (22).
