The author presents a hitherto unavailable analytical solution to the boundary value problem on free vibrations of arbitrarily laminated moderately thick rectangular plates. The parametric investigation of first seven eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors given by the author can serve as benchmark data for future numerical analyses.
