Complementarity and equivalence relationships between convex fuzzy systems with symmetry restrictions and wavelets (Q1302244)

The paper deals with the complementary and equivalence relationship between convex fuzzy systems with symmetric restrictions and wavelets, both regarded from the approximation of functions point of view. After a review of basic principles with several examples, it is shown that the concept of multi-scale fuzzy systems ensures a close relationship between the two apparently unrelated subjects -- a fact that can stimulate further research.
