The author studies an immiscible two-phase flow in a porous medium. Saturation equation, i.e. the Buckley-Leverett equation, is solved numerically by Godunov method in which the saturation is calculated by using the solution of Riemann problems at cell interfaces. Using the entropy inequality, the author establishes the unique solvability of Riemann problems for all possible initial conditions.
