A notion of local indicator for a plurisubharmonic function \(f\) at a point \(x\) is introduced. It is a plurisubharmonic function \(\psi_{f,x}\) in the unit polydisk \(D\) such that \(\forall y\in D\) with \(y_1,\dots, y_n\neq 0\), \(-\psi_{f,x}(y)\) equals the directional Lelong number of \(f\) at \(x\) with respect to the direction \(-(\log|y_1|, \dots,\log |y_n|) \in \mathbb{R}^n_+\). The indicator controls the behaviour of \(f\) near \(x\): \(f(y)\leq \psi_{f,x} (y-x)+C\). For \(f\) locally bounded outside \(x\), \((dd'\psi_{f,x})^n=0\) on \(D\setminus \{0\}\) and \((dd'f)^n(x) \geq(dd'\psi_{f,x})^n(0)\). A pluricomplex Green function is introduced and studied for a bounded hyperconvex domain \(\Omega\) with respect to given indicators \(\psi_1,\dots, \psi_m\) at points \(x_1,\dots, x_m\in\Omega\).
