The authors consider the \(SU(2)\) WZNW model. The phase space of the model is extended by the chiral zero modes including the twisted periodicity conditions. The construction of the physical state-space of the zero modes in terms of the generalized BRS homology is given. In BRS construction we have a Lie algebra \(g\) acting on some space \(\mathcal H\) and we use Lie algebra homology \(H(g,\mathcal H)\) of \(g\), acting on \(\mathcal H\). The extended space is the space of \(\mathcal H\)-valued Lie algebra cochains of \(g\), \(C(g,\mathcal H)\). The extended space is also the tensor product \(\mathcal H \otimes \mathcal H'\) where the exterior algebra \(\mathcal H'=\Lambda g^*\) is the dual space of \(g\). Moreover, \(\mathcal H\) is a left \(U(g)\)-module (\(U(g)\) is the enveloping algebra of \(g\)), and one can take as extended space the space of \(\mathcal H\)-valued Hochschild cochains of \(U(g)\), \(C(U(g),\mathcal H)\) and compute its cohomology. Again the space is the tensor product \(\mathcal H \otimes \mathcal H'\) but now \(\mathcal H'=T(U(g)^*)\) is a tensor algebra. The objective of the authors generalization is to extend the \(q\)-Fock space module in such a way that quantum group invariance has not to be imposed as an extra constraint. A minimal canonical construction achieving this goal is based on generalized Hochschild complex and on elementary spectral sequence's argument. The generalization consists of a construction of a nilpotent operator \(Q\) such that \(Q^h=0\) (\(h=k+2=2,3,\ldots\) being the height of the current algebra representation) acting on an extended state space. In the ordinary BRS theory the operator \(Q\) satisfies the condition \(Q^2=0\) and ordinary homology is used. The physical space is identified with the direct sum \[ \bigoplus_{n=1} ^{h-1} \text{Ker}(Q^n)/ \text{Im}(Q^{h-n}). . \]
