The authors consider singular integral operators of the form: \[ T_{\Gamma, b}f(x) = \text{ p.v.}\int_{\mathbb R^n} K(y)f(x-\Gamma(|y|)_y') dy \] where \(\Gamma\) is a strictly monotonic \(C^1\) function on \(\mathbb R\) and \(K(y) =b(|y|)\Omega(y/|y|)/|y|^n\). Here \(b\) belongs to the space \(\Delta_\gamma\) of functions such that \(\sup_{R>0} R^{-1}\int_0^R |b(t)|^\gamma dt<\infty\) while \(\Omega\in H^1(S^{n-1})\), the Hardy space on the unit sphere. Under such conditions the authors Fan and Pan previously showed that the operator \(T_{\Gamma, b}\) is \(L^p\)-bounded, \(1<p<\infty\), provided \(b\in \Delta_2\) and \(\Gamma\) satisfies a doubling condition. In the current paper the authors extend this result to certain weighted Lebesgue spaces. The weights satisfy a radial Muckenhoupt condition considered in earlier work of Duoandikoetxea in addition to the rectangular version of the Muckenhoupt \(A_p\) condition. The authors call the weights \(\widetilde A_p^I\)-weights. The main theorem assumes that \(b\in \Delta_\gamma\) for some \(\gamma\geq 2\), that \(\Gamma\in C^1\) is strictly monotonic and satisfies \(\lambda_1\Gamma(t)\geq \Gamma(2t)\geq \lambda_2\Gamma(t)\) for some \(\lambda_i>0\), and \(\Gamma'(t)\geq C_1/t\) for some \(C_1>0\) and all \(t>0\). Under these conditions the authors show that \(T_{\Gamma, b}\) is \(L^p(\omega)\)-bounded provided \(\omega\in \widetilde A^{I}_{p/\gamma'}\) where \(\gamma'\) is the conjugate index of \(\gamma\). A corresponding result holds when \(\Gamma\) is strictly decreasing. The method of rotations and Van der Corput's lemma play important roles in the proof, as does the atomic decomposition of the Hardy space on the sphere. The authors also prove boundedness results for the accompanying truncated maximal singular integral as well as boundedness results in Morrey spaces and Herz spaces.
