The authors have discussed the effect of rotating speed of the cylinder on the streamlines, isotherms, and Nusselt number. The effect of the Reynolds number has also been discussed. The method used is that of numerical calculation. It is interesting to note that for small rotation number the jet flow is separated into two branches. It is also interesting to note that with the aid of rotating cylinder, one of the separation point moves downward, whereas the other one receives no influence. Effects of various values of \(\text{Re}_ j\) (jet Reynolds number) have been discussed. The transition between two solutions modes is not clear for \(\text{Re}_ j= 100\).
