The article is an emotional essay on structures upon which multidimensional global analysis can be interpreted. The author pays respect to Dionysius and to the Pythagoreans for their systematics and he comments developments from the Renaissance till \(n\)-spheres and superstrings. To end with, he points to two ancient Nordic poems where the celestial spheres are mentioned.
