We say that a subgroup \(H\) is alternatively normal in the group \(G\) if \(H\) is either normal or \(H_ G= G\). The class of all Dedekind groups, on one hand, and the class of all simple groups, on the other hand, are subclasses in the class of groups where all subgroups are alternatively normal. The relation ``to be an alternatively normal subgroup'' is not transitive. Therefore the following question arises naturally: What are the groups in which this relation is transitive? The main result of this paper is Theorem 1. Let \(G\) be a torsion soluble group. \(G\) satisfies the transitivity condition for alternatively normal subgroups if and only if one of the following holds: (1) \(G\) is a Dedekind group; (2) \(G = L\cdot \langle z\rangle\), where (2a) \(L = [L,\langle z\rangle]\) is an abelian subgroup; (2b) every subgroup of \(L\) is normal in \(G\); (2c) \(z\) is a \(p\)-element, \(p\) is prime, and \(z^ p \in \zeta(G)\) (\(\zeta(G)\) is the center of \(G\)); (2d) \(\pi(L) \cap \{p\} \subset \{2\}\).
