The author deals with fuzzy valued maps \(F: X\to {\mathcal F}(Y)\) where \(X\) is a topological space, \(Y\) is a fuzzy topological space and \({\mathcal F}(Y)\) denotes the family of all non-zero fuzzy sets in \(Y\); he defines upper (lower) continuity at a point \(x_ 0\in X\) for such maps and also upper (lower) quasi-uniform convergence of a net \(\{F_ s: s\in S\}\) of fuzzy-valued maps \(F_ s: X\to{\mathcal F}(Y)\); it has been proved that if each such \(F_ s\) is upper continuous and the net \(\{F_ s: s\in S\}\) lower quasi-uniformly converges to \(F\) and \(\tau^ +\) pointwise converges to \(F\), then \(F\) is upper continuous where \(\tau^ +\) is generated by \(\{a\in {\mathcal F}(Y): a\wedge (1-u) = 0\}\) where \(u\) is fuzzy open in \(Y\). Some kind of quasi-uniform structure has been given to the set of all non-zero fuzzy sets and, as in general topology, a bitopological space has been achieved. Finally, in the space of fuzzy-valued maps, quasi- uniformities have been introduced and some topologies on such mapping space are compared.
