The authors show how some new concepts of fuzzy mathematics, widely used in Artificial Intelligence, are related (or not) to the classical logical approach made by Tarski. Starting with consequence operators, the equivalence to preorders is given and the corresponding fuzzy preoders are studied. This yields the consideration of approximate consequences and their relations with some probabilistic models. Several classical logical concepts are revisited and generalized in the framework of fuzzy logic.
