For \(L\) a fuzzy lattice, \(L\)-fuzzy locales are introduced to reflect both the localic and level structures of \(L\)-fuzzy topologies. An \(L\)-fuzzy locale is defined to be a pair \((A,i_ A)\) where \(A\) is a locale and \(i_ A: L\to A\) preserves unions and intersections, being called the level structure of \(A\). Then the relation between \(L\)-fuzzy locales and stratified \(L\)-fuzzy topological spaces is shown to be analogous to that between locales and topological spaces. Results on induced \(L\)-fuzzy locales and \(L\)-fuzzy spectra are proved and used to produce a localic \(L\)-fuzzy modification of the category of topological spaces.
