The stability of a class of reversible systems (Q1314079)

The paper is devoted to a class of reversible systems characterized by the critical case of zero roots and by some pairs of pure imaginary roots. According to the theorems proposed by the authors, the Lyapunov's stability and instability problems may be solved in the cases of internal resonances. As an illustrative example, the stability analysis of an active satellite in a non-Keplerian circular orbit is presented.
