    The author studies the existence and bifurcation of solutions of the problem \[ -\text{div} \Biggl( {{\nabla u} \over {\sqrt {1+| \nabla u|^ 2}}} \Biggr)= \lambda u- F(x,u)u \quad \text{ in } \mathbb{R}^ N, \quad u(x)\to 0 \text{ as } | x|\to \infty. \] Under appropriate conditions on \(F\) it is shown that infinitely many continua of radially symmetric solutions, distinguished by their nodal properties, emanate from the line of trivial solutions.
