    The aim of the author is to generalize some already known results concerning the Green's function and the eigenfunction of the operator \((- \Delta + q(x) - \mu^ 2)\) considered in a bounded domain \(\Omega \in \mathbb{R}^ N\) to the case of \(\Omega \equiv \mathbb{R}^ N\). Here \(\mu \in Z_ 0 : = \{z \in \mathbb{C} : \varepsilon_ 0 \leq \arg z \leq \pi - \varepsilon_ 0\}\) with a certain fixed number \(\varepsilon_ 0 \in (0, \pi)\) and \(q(x)\) is a given function. The main results of the paper are stated in two theorems. The first theorem gives a uniform estimation for the Green's function \(E_ \mu (x,y)\) in the form \[ \bigl | E_ \mu (x,y) \bigr | \leq c | x - y |^{2-N} e^{-(\alpha/2) | x - y | | \mu_ 2 |}, \] which is valid uniformly for \(x,y \in \mathbb{R}^ N\). Here \(E_ \mu\) stands for the Green's function of \((- \Delta + q - \mu^ 2 + \mu_ 1)\) and \(\mu^ 2 = (\mu^ 2 - \mu_ 1)^{1/2}\) while \(\alpha\), \(\mu_ 1\) and \(c\) are certain numbers. The second theorem gives a square integral estimation of a complete system of generalized eigenfunctions with respect to an appropriate measure.
