Index theory and Toeplitz algebras on one-parameter subgroups of Lie groups (Q1314971)

We form the Toeplitz \(C^*\)-algebra associated to the one-parameter group of diffeomorphisms defined by a left-invariant vector field on a compact Lie group. We compute the \(K\)-theory of the Toeplitz algebra and its commutator ideal. We also define an abstract analytical index for the Toeplitz algebra and show that this analytical index can be computed in terms of topological data.
