    The aim of this paper is to study the problem \[ u'(t)\in {\mathcal K},\qquad\text{for a.e. } t\in]0, T[\tag{1} \] \[ (t^2 u''(t)+ atu'(t)+ t^{2\alpha} Au(t)- f(t),\;v- u'(t))\geq 0,\;\forall v\in {\mathcal K},\qquad\text{for a.e. } t\in ]0, T[\tag{2} \] where \(0< T< +\infty\); \(a\) and \(\alpha\) are given arbitrary real numbers; \(V\subseteq H\equiv H^*\subseteq V^*\) is the standard Hilbert triplet; \((\cdot, \cdot)\) denotes the duality pairing between \(V^*\) and \(V\); \(\mathcal K\) is a closed convex subset of \(V\), with \(0\in {\mathcal K}\); \(A\in {\mathcal L}(V, V^*)\), and \(A\) is a symmetric and \(V\)-coercive operator; \(f(t)\) is some given ``suitably regular'' \(V^*\)-valued function on \(]0, T[\). First of all, (1)--(2) is reformulated in a suitable weak form. Then, we prove existence and uniqueness results for (weak) solutions, in the natural framework of weighted spaces.
