Using the concept of a Fischer system \((G,X)\), i.e., \(X\) is a generating set for the group \(G\) consisting of involutions, such that if \(x\) and \(y\) are elements of \(X\), \(xy\) is of order 1, 2, or 3, the author recalls the notion of a \((G,X)\)-group. Such groups have been studied by the author in a series of earlier papers. ``The principal part of this paper is devoted to the following problem: Let \(K\) be a ring and \(M\) be a \(KG\)-module which is a \((G,X)\)-group. Construct all \(G\)-invariant bilinear forms on \(M\). With their help one can construct central extensions \(\widehat{M}\) of \(M\) which are \((G, X)\)-groups. Then, the semidirect product of \(\widehat{M}\) by \(G\) gives interesting groups.'' The paper concludes with an example starting with a `Fischer-group' constructed by M. Hall, jun.
