A method based on Chebyshev expansions is proposed for the solution of nonlinear circuit equations used for designing application specific integrated circuits (ASIC). Due to the expansion of variables in the Chebyshev series this method requires the least amount of data to be stored and the number of iterations needed to obtain the solution for a given accuracy is reduced. Applications of the new method to transmission lines and intense ion beams with space-charge neutralization are discussed.
