Let \(P\) be the convex set of the holomorphic functions on the unit ball \(B\) of \(\mathbb{C}^ n\) \((n>1)\) which have positive real part and take value 1 at 0. \textit{J. N. McDonald} [Ill. J. Math. 34, No. 1, 26-37 (1980; Zbl 0679.32007)] has described some extreme points of \(P\) using the extreme points of the unit ball \(A\) in \(H^ \infty (B)\). The author continues this description. For example let \(\varphi = (\varphi_ 1, \dots, \varphi_ n)\) be an \(n\)-tuple of nonnegative integers and choose \(c_ \varphi>0\) such that \(h_ \varphi (z) = c_ \varphi z^ \varphi\) satisfies \(\| h \varphi \| = \sup \{| h_ \varphi (z) |:\;z \in B\} = 1\). If \(\text{gcd} (\varphi_ j) = k>1\), then one obtains a class of extreme points of \(P\) of the form \((1+c \cdot h_ \theta)/(1-c \cdot h_ \theta)\), where \(\theta = \varphi/k\) and \(c^ k=1\).
