Modifications of Toeplitz matrices: Jump functions (Q1316346)

Let \(M\) be an infinite Hermite and Toeplitz matrix with nonsingular principal minors. In this paper, the authors consider a modification obtained by the addition of a finite number of jump functions in points placed not necessarily on the unit circle. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the regularity of the new moment matrix are given. Some interesting applications and examples are considered.
