The paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions of a singular two-point boundary value problem of the form \(\dot y(t)= F(t,x(t))\), \(A<t<B\), \(y(A)=\lambda x(A)\), \(x(B)=0\) where \(y(t)=-[k(t) x'(t)+h(t)]/g(t)\), \(\lambda \geq -\infty\) and the function \(F(t,x)\) is such that \(\lim_{x \to 0+} F(t,x)=+\infty\). Sufficient conditions for boundedness of the function \(y\) are also provided.
