    Consider the difference Schrödinger operator on \(\ell_ 2(Z)\) defined by \(H(\sigma)= \Delta+ \sigma V\), where \(\Delta\) is the finite difference Laplacian \[ (\Delta u)(x)= \sum_{\| x- x'\|= 1} u(x'), \] \(u= u(x)\in \ell_ 2(Z^ \nu)\), and \(\sigma\) is the coupling constant, \(V: Z^ \nu\to R\) is defined by \[ V= \sum_{x_ k\in \Lambda} \xi(x_ k) \delta(x- x_ k),\quad \xi(x_ k)= \xi_ k,\tag{1} \] where \(\Lambda\) is a fractal set on the lattice \(Z^ \nu\), \(\nu\geq 1\), \(\delta(x- y)\) is the Kronecker symbol, and \(\xi_ 1,\xi_ 2,\dots\) is a sequence of real numbers such that \(| \xi_ i|\leq 1\) for every \(i\). A potential of the form (1) will be called a fractal potential. In the present paper the author has studied the spectrum of difference Schrödinger operator with a fractal potential.
