Let \(p\) be a prime such that \(2<p<2n\). It is shown that for any bounded subset \(K\) of \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) there exists an orthogonal projection \(\pi\) of \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) onto some 2-dimensional plane such that there exists a regular \(p\)-gon circumscribed to \(\pi(K)\) (Theorem 1). The proof uses earlier results of the author [Math. USSR, Sb. 66, No. 2, 431-438 (1990); translation from Mat. Sb. 180, No. 3, 424-431 (1989; Zbl 0684.52002)]. Further, let \(M\) be a polyhedral set in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) (finite intersection of half-spaces) and let \(X(M)\) be the union of all bodies of constant width 1 contained in \(M\). The author shows that \(X\) is a semi-algebraic set (given by finitely many algebraic inequalities) (Theorem 3). He remarks that by this construction a possible universal cover \(M\) can even be made smaller by substituting \(X(M)\) for \(M\).
