We study the effect of rotation of the pipe about its own axis on the stability of the combined steady motion with rotation and blowing. As with Poiseuille flow in a rotating pipe, in this case too the solution is a simple superposition of the component motions, when the rotation does not affect the meridional flow. However, in the stability problem the rotation has a strong influence. From the practical standpoint, this formulation is of interest in connection with the problem of the generation of powerful acoustic oscillations in swirled flows, in particular in a vortex chamber, where the flow in the axial zone can be simulated by the motion in a rotating porous pipe.
