The equations for the second moments of the dispersed-phase velocity and temperature fluctuations have been used for the calculation of gas suspension jet flows within the framework of Eulerian approach. Analysis neglects interparticle collisions, so that their stochastic motion can be determined exclusively by their involvement in the fluctuating motion in the carrier flow. The calculation scheme not only utilises the equations for turbulent energy of the gas and its dissipation, but also the equations for the turbulent energy and heat transfer of the solid phase. Further, the model does not involve any additional empirical constant associated with the presence of particles in the flow. Predictions are consistent with other theoretical solutions. The numerical data for the broad range of variation of the particle size and mass concentration compare satisfactorily with experimental analyses.
