This paper establishes the following result: Let \(f: X\to Y\) be a surjective meromorphic map, where \(X\) and \(Y\) are Moishezon compact complex manifolds of the same dimension. Let \(L\) be a big ``metric nef'' line bundle on \(X\), and \(0\neq s\in H^ 0(X,L)\). Let \(V\) be the zero set of \(s\). Then \(W= f(V)\) is an analytic hypersurface of \(Y\). When \(X\) is projective, ``metric nef'' just means ``nef''; the actual notion is defined in terms of Hermitian metrics. But ``metric nef'' implies ``nef''.
